Position Summary
Develop Category Strategies across Retail Channels, drive the Channel & Category Sales Development projects and develop channel and shopper insight for the category.
A day in the life of a Trade Marketing
Executive :
- Facilitate and coordinate the Market Business Strategy, Monthly Business Review, Cycle Planning meeting and Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) process including the QBR with marketing and sales.
- Accountable for monitoring, analysis of sell in and sell out.
- In charge of driving the forecast and all activities / executions in retail channel. Work with NSM Trade on target setting.
- In charge of reporting of category performance across channels and key accounts customers through monthly and quarterly dashboards, combining both external and internal data points.
- Define Channel Reference Guide and drive Outlet Classification project, ensuring it encompasses the entire universe.
- Provide Shareholders fact-based assessment and recommend prioritization of channels along with strategies for exploiting high-level opportunities and resolving high-level issues and understand the competitor’s commercial strategy by channel.
- Provide insights to NSM in developing cross-customer management strategies for achieving channel vision.
- Develop and provide to CMM’s fact-based, compelling, customer-relevant and marketing-aligned category selling stories/presentations/packages by channel for each major category initiatives.
- Provide Insight on channel and category trends to the Sales & Marketing team during Innovation & Renovation projects.
- Develop merchandising guidelines and directions, including permanent POP materials display recommendations and planogram solutions in line with POP and brand vision and objectives
- Plan and implement modern trade activities and in charge of facilitating promotional permits aligned with regulatory standards and FDA.
What will make you successful :
- Minimum Degree in any related science course or equivalent
- At least 3-5 years in strategic development of marketing and sales projects
- Managed independently under challenging/demanding market environments to achieve and exceed goals
- Has had experience of working with cross-functional teams
- Has independently handled projects such as defining guidelines, driving the ICP process, etc.
- Experience in acquiring insights on channel and category trends
